This image is composed of both painting and found objects. Pencils, wire, glass, toys and other random objects are used to shape the likeness of this iconic beauty. Junk pieces such as metal, glass and paint are what were used to create this elegant, classy, reinvented image of Marilyn Monroe. This art piece captures the fascination of any viewer who lays eyes upon it. To create this image took hours of hand crafted assembly. For Todd it was a slow, surgical like process to bond all of the objects together artistically. Then a clear coat bond was applied by hand to hold all the objects together permanently. Metal, glass and some parts are not clear coated in efforts to retain sparkling beauty. Original size is 24 in. x 30 in.
